Bought this tent a few weeks ago. Had a bargain price of 199 from manufacturers. Very easy to put up with the colour coded connection points. The hinged door can be set up in less than 2 minutes: Watch the video first for advice. The interior dimensions are tall and generous. However, I would apply this warning. As with every tent you should divide the sleeping accommodation by two to have a comfortable night's sleep. Although this tent comes with a partition divider, there were only two anchoring points that limited options. As with a lot of American designed tents, there is no designated electrical access point. However, with a bit of camping savvy, a needle, thread and use of tent peg tie ups, this can easily be overcome without reducing the overall integrity of the tent. The hinged door can also be controlled by elastic bands or bungees. I agree about the annoying little noises that that Plankymonkey described. Simple solution was to wrap them around the poles when you close the outside fly sheet! All in all a cracking tent!

We've had this tent for just over a year now, and still enjoy it. It spends a lot of the summer in out garden, as a summer house.

Very easy to pitch, it doesn't need the perfect angle guy lines that a lot of tents seem to need these days. It has seen us through three weeks of windy weather, one of those extremely wet, but no leaks so far.

Bad bits - one Velcro tab has pulled away from the outer, the toggles near the doors tinkle in the wind, the solid door can't just be left to close if there is any wind, it needs to be zipped, otherwise it opens up, camp bed has put a hole in the floor, so we put rubbed pads under the feet. We also burnt a hole in a mesh window! Patched up.

Modifications made - stitched hanging loops in every corner, now the divider is a lot more flexible. Cord has been crossed over and around the roof to give hanging points. Tie back for the solid door, sometimes, you don't want a solid door, like when setting up, so we take out the bent pole and tie the door back just like any other tent. I have replaced the guylines with hi vis lines and Hilleberg adjusters, but I do that will all my tents.

Very happy with this tents, it takes two camp beds at an angle, so they can be used as bench seats, along with a table and kitchen.

Surprised to read the negative review on this, as I love it!

I bought this specifically for a European trip, where I knew we would be moving on frequently, so wanted something easy to pitch and strike. It scores full marks in that respect . Very simple and quick. The poles are light and not too long and there is none of that annoying flexing and forcing poles into shape. It goes up in minutes and as a short woman I can easily do this alone. The only proviso is it does pitch inner-first, so in heavy rain it would get a bit wet.[Tip: if you are not very tall, make sure to throw the flysheet over before lifting it up to its full height].

It also comes in a really handy wheeled bag, so very easy to transport.

We camped in fierce thunderstorms with torrential rain and the tent did not leak at all. I was really impressed because I had not expected such weather and hadn't bought the tent with that in mind. We were not exposed to extreme wind and I can imagine this tent might not cope well, due to its shape and generally light construction.

It is a single open space inside, but there is a divider you can hang for privacy. With four people there is plenty of space for sleeping and luggage. With two people, you have a seating space also. It has great head height and the walls will all open up, so perfect for hot weather. I also especially like the door structure, which is a semi-rigid proper door rather than just a flap.

Overall, I think it works great. Having bought it specifically for the one long trip and not expecting it to survive that trip, I now find myself favouring this one over my other tent, a steel pole Outwell, which is undoubtedly superior in quality but is so heavy and bulky.

This tent was returned as simply not up to the job!

We took this tent to Cornwall for its first outing, the reason for the 3/10 is that the tent is very quick and simple to put up, great idea behind the design and great space inside for two people and a dog. But that is where my praise ends.

Slight bit or Cornish mizzle and the tent leaks badly.

Rain runs off the roof, it lands on the porch and then bounces onto the door seam which lets water through at a rate of knots - 2 very large puddles of water either side of the tent from both doors. Very disappointing!

When the wind blows it feels like the tent is going to take off or worse rip

Annoying little tinks from the tie backs on the poles when the wind blows

Expensive at 200, eventually got a full refund but this was hard work

We have replaced it with a De Waard Dutch canvas tent!
