What a great tent,and we have owned a few.My wife and I have had five great years using this tent.If I was to have one little niggle,i would like more room in the bedroom,but that is because we have a queen size high rise airbed. (try one).Our tent has stood up to high winds and heavy rain without a problem.My wife calls it the bungalow.Its large windows allow in plenty of light.We would not swap it any other tent on the market.

We have camped for five years using this tent. We are a family of 4 and the tent is ideal. To retain the living space we also use an Outwell day tent which is ideal for cooking and eating to retain the living space in the tent. The tent has stood up outstandingly to some atrociousness weather over the last 2 summers. Frame tends to creak in strong winds but is very strong. Seeing more modern tents on sites we have visited I still feel a frame tent is a stronger option. It is a shame they don't seem to be now available.

The tent basically is very spacious and we have camped in it loads of times. We would much rather have a frame tent than a more modern style. There is usually only two of us and we manage to erect it ok. I don't think you could realistically expect to put a 6 man frame tent up on your own anyway, without putting strain on some of the poles.
However, beware if windy as you may need an extra hand. There is no supporting pole in middle at front and we have found that the two outer poles are now slightly bent which is a little worrying.
We have slept 5 earlier in year and is great for get togethers in evening.
Look forward to camping in it in a few weeks time.

This was our very first big tent we bought. It was so simple to put up if you take your time, I was able to put it up on my own on three occasions all you need is help lifting the canvas as it is very heavy. The space is huge in living area if you have the front wall at end,or you could bring it in an have a shelter to sit under if weather was fine. We sold it cos we only had a car an it took up too much space for all other equipment, would gladly buy another.

We inherited a earlier version of the Kos and think it's great for sitting space and cooking - you can easily and safely cook inside in bad weather and have the porch area for shelter when it's fine enough to cook outside. We too usually reduce the living area to make a porch.
It is easy to put up when you work out how - the instructions we had were a vague drawing of lots of lines that didn't quite meet up so experiment in the garden before you even think of taking it anywhere. We now have all the poles colour coded and it goes up in about 30 min.
I'm 5'1 and I can't raise the legs on my own - so praise to Moonseeker. You are looking at a 7' high ridge pole.
I think if we had bought this tent we would have been disappointed (especially at the RRP!).
The curtains on the windows are translucent grey cotton and do nothing for privacy. Likewise the dividing curtain between the 3 and 2 berth - useless if you want some privacy! (We remedied this with fabric from a sheet and duvet case)
We have taken it away with 3 adults and struggled to put three campbeds (2 in the 3 berth and 1 in the 2 berth and stand up. I don't think you could realistically expect anyone to sleep in the 1 berth except luggage, it's really claustrophobic in there. It probably feels more claustrophobic because the inner tents are taller than they are wide! With two adults it's very luxurious and comfortable but you do get strange looks for having such a beast of a tent to yourself.
I'd recommend it for 2-3 adults or for a family with young children. Don't even think about 6!
Otherwise it's a pretty well made tent that makes a comfortable holiday base, light and airy.

An excellent tent with masses of space.It is in my opinion just a step down from a trailer tent but sleeping on the floor. Had one for 2 years and was brill, I stored it for 12 months but had a leak in my garage floor. When I opened it it had rotted right along the roof I was gutted. But I bought another one the same off ebay which was a relief.

This is a great tent. Very spacious. We use a double air bed in each bedroom and it comfortably sleeps six people. The living area is large and we can all sit comfortably on chairs and still have room to move. The large windows make the tent feel bright and airy, and its lovely to be able to have a great view outside, especially when its raining. Its very straight forward to pitch and solid once up. I have no negatives comments to make about this tent. A very good quality frame tent for the money.

A spacious frame tent.
Frame tents are far easier to put up than some of the large domes. I am 5'2' female, who can pitch this solo.
I love the way the front panel on the Kos 6 if moveable, giving either a very large living area, or the option of a porch area. Even with the porch area option, I found the living area spacious enough to put the picnic table inside for meals when it was too wet to eat outside.
The main bedroom section can either be used as one large bedroom or divided by a hanging curtain.
As a mum, I find the large bedroom ideal - means I can get to the children easily, if need be.
It is also large enough for two double airbeds - a big plus.
