First saw my brother-in-law's last year and fell in love with it. Brought a second hand one recently from a well known auction site in absolutely immaculate condition and used it twice so far this year.Love it love it love it !

The living space is fab for relaxing at night with a glass (or 2) of wine and a pack of cards and also if weather is rubbish, as is the front extension, which I use for cooking and washing-up.

Would recommend it to anyone looking for a big family size tent or even, like us if you just want bit extra space.

Its the best tent on the market . Well made and you don't have to take all day to put it up . Emma and me found so easy to put up . We had a really bad storm on night, full works, and kept nice and dry.

Plenty of room as well, we have 3 children. All I have to say is well done Outwell for making a tent with people in mind and making one easy to put up as well

We started with an average-sized Eurohike (Millets) tent until we were sure we had the camping bug. In the meantime we walked the campsites looking at makes and tents and talking to owners. Outwell were one of the most popular and no one had a bad thing to say so we went for the Indiana 8 the next year.

The tent is excellent, there is so much space and height that there is plenty of room inside when the weather isn't perfect and there is loads of light thanks to all the windows. The canopy at the front means there is no need to pack an extra gazebo.

The only drawback is the volume and weight of the two packs when packed away. It takes up a massive part of the boot and cannot be carried hardly anywhere.

I used to get tent envy when walking around campsites, but not any more. This is our second large tent since we started camping with our two smallish children about 6yrs ago, and I wouldn't swap it for anything else. The first tent taught us the importance of having a large living area to chill in once the kids have gone to bed. The manufacturers' claim of 'spacious family camping' is no exaggeration. It really comes into its own in the rain (Isle of Wight this year) because you can sit around in the dry without feeling at all claustrophobic. The optional front canopy makes a great sunshade if you are lucky enough to get some sun! And the build quality is great.

We are large build people and this tent accommodates my son's height and our width, he can even stand up in the bedrooms. There is plenty of room in the bedroom to walk round the bed if you have fewer than 8 people. It is one of the most waterproof tents you can buy with a 5ooo hydrostatic head. Only one drawback to owning this brilliant tent is that some sites will not accommodate us because the pitches are too small. Check pitch size before you book.

Well made, high quality, easy to erect, spacious with lots of storage pockets.

We purchased this after camping with friends who had one. It's not difficult to erect by two people within about 10 to 15 mins. The living area is very large with enough space for 10 people; which we had in it at last weeks La Mans weekend. The sleeping pods are attached to the outer tent via loads of toggle straps. The straps keep the inner tents nicely away from the outer tent. There are lots of windows and lots of vents to allow good air circulation. The inner tents are also well vented. The vents remove that damp condensation feel that you very often get when waking up in a morning. All vents are completely rain proof. We had a double height king size airbed in one side of the rear sleeping pod without any problems. This is one of the best tents that I have owned and I’m happy to recommend it to anyone who is looking for good roomy well made tent that will last for years. One of the couples who was camping with us last week, are so impressed with this tent they intend to replace their trailer tent with one.

Huge Tent, after a few practice runs fairly easy to put up. This is not a pop up tent. It's heavy and sturdy. Having used it in the middle of typical Scottish stormy and windy weather I can attest to its effectiveness under stress. The good thing about this tent is that if the weather is a bit rubbish there is great deal of living space to move about and stop the cabin fever. Husband is 6 ft 4 ins and he can stand up straight! this is a pretty cool aspect - no sore back/neck - one fairly chilled man!

Fantastic quality tent and great value with the canopy included. Has lots of space and lots of windows for good light in bad weather. Bathtub ground sheet stops any water getting in but is easy to clean when packing away.

It has a huge amount of space inside and we have had 10 people sat in comfort in it. The mesh on the side door helps ventalation alongside the ample ventalation points. The canopy is perfect for cooking in the damp weather and keeps you dry while you get the boots off.

Overall the best tent we have owned.

This tent completely turned me on to Outwell , having previously owned both Vango and Lichfield tents.Having a family consisiting of me and hubby , a 6ft something teenager ,2 younger kids and 2 staffords , we needed a tent to cater for all our needs , and the Indiana 8 fulfilled them. Its a tunnel tent , so the height is the same throughout (none of those awful slopey bedrooms in this tent!)the living area in this thing is awesome , on a recent UKCS meet , it earned the nickname 'the tardis'.

There are well over 10 organiser pockets throughout the tent ,velcro straps for keeping ehu cables off the floor , a detachable bathtub groundsheet for the living area , sewn in groundsheet on all 3 bedroom pods.A detachable canopy , that is invaluable for cooking under in bad weather etc.(Huge side canopy for the second door is available at extra cost.Next on my shopping list!)Plenty of windows , and excellent ventilation throughout, luminous pre-attached guy ropes , and a 5000 hydrostatic head.Oh , and a nice touch is the outwell doormat that comes with it.(although my kids always seem to miss the doormat!)

Downside.Only one for me , and thats the sheer weight of it ,which can make it a little longer to put up, but having said that , once this tent is up and pegged , nothing is going to move it!

This fantastic new invention turns a can of drink into a sealed bottle, protecting drinks from being spilt, keeping out creepy crawlies, and keeping fizz in. They are a must for any camper or caravanner.
