This is our weekender (in the hopes we take less equipment). Its a great tent, we have just had a couple of days in the new forest followed by a couple of days in Dorset. It was wet and muddy but the tent withstood it all. I was worried that we might not have enough space as our regular tent is a gelert Utah 4+4 but no problems at all in fact it was great to get back to what camping should be about ie; not taking everything and the kitchen sink. Don't get me wrong the Arizona isn't a small tent, there's plenty of space for chairs if its wet and the bedrooms roomy enough for clothes storage at the end of the bed (this is based on 2 people sharing the tent). One of the best things about it though and the reason we actually bought it is the head height. We wanted a weekend tent we could stand up in that felt light and airy and this fulfils that criteria easily.

We are very happy campers!

What a great little (sort of) tent! We bought one because we have a Gelert Lokon 5 for camping trips of over a week (not worth putting it up for a weekend! Takes too long!) and we wanted something that would only take us 10 mins or so to put up and take down, that had enough head room for a 6'3'' person to stand up in and had somewhere that was suitable for a kitchen/sitting area. Well this fits the bill exactly!

Our first attempt last weekend, without even having taken it out of the bag before, was 15 minutes from getting it out of the bag to up and ready for our stuff. Three poles mean it is really easy to put up, even with one person who has never been camping before (my husband) and didn't know what he was doing.

The tent is spacious enough for two adults and all the associated bags and bit's and pieces that they need. There was more than enough room for us to have a table and two seats in the front area when it rained. When the sun shone we opened both doors (side and front)and it made it seem even bigger.

We had no leaks through any of the seams which was good, and it stood up to some quite heavy winds well.

The only issue I have is that there is quite a large gap between the bottom edge of the flysheet (around the bedroom part) which let in the wind a bit and probably some rain too. They have put a mud valance around the living area and I don't know why they couldn't continue that around the whole of the tent to make it a bit more cosy.

That's it though, otherwise it's great!

This is my first Outwell and I like it a lot. I would return to the brand, however this tent does have it problems. When raining it is impossible to get in and out of the tent without getting water in the living area. At the front the door is narrower at the top than the bottom so trying to use it to extend you living area in the wet only succeeds in letting water drip straight onto the groundsheet etc. The D door at the side has the same problems as ever other tent with a D style door on the market.

When pitched in the rain you can have it up and be in the dry in 5 - 10 mins (without the guying it out).

I love this tent and it is a keeper for weekends so long as I not expecting rain.

I agree with the Leeds Loiners review. The tent is quick and easy to put up and take down, you keep dry in heavy rain and storms, and it is good for overnight and longer stays.

We're very pleased with it!

Purchased this tent in 2007 and taken straight away on a 2 week holiday in Bude.

Really easy to erect, with 3 fibreglass poles which are colour coded. We have used it in strong winds and rain and it has performed without any problems.

Good height as you can stand up straight, plenty of space for me and wife (like to spread out) but are confident it will cater for 3 people. The door panel is an excellent size, you don't have to squeeze yourself into the tent. The front (where the large window is) can be rolled up or pegged out as a canopy. (you will need to buy poles if you wanted to use as canopy as they are not included) Good ventilation and 2 windows in the top of tent takes advantage of those long summer days. Loads of storage pockets in inner tent. Door to inner tent is 'O' shaped (we have knicknamed it 'The Stargate')

All in all well impressed! Quality zips, luminous guy lines, excellent joining and sealing of panels.

We managed to purchase this tent on offer at £85 Bargain!

We are well impressed!
