Agree with all the comments made previously, the extension does make for a really good place to cook, sit, store outside things when weather is bad. BUT does anyone know how you are supposed to fasten the extension onto the other side of the tent? It says to clip to the poles but that doesn't really work.

Bought this to give us extra room, do all cooking in it and socialising if raining. LOL!
Lovely big windows at side, might have been good to have window covers like what are in the tent. For a little privacy when it turns dark!
Same as others have said, bit messy to put up 1st time, but now takes about 15 mins :-))))

We bought this for last years blue sample tent which they didn't bring out an extension for ? The extension itself is great which takes 2 of you to erect with steel poles in about 15 min when you get used to it. There are 2 large windows and plenty of room for a cooker, shoes etc. We had problems at first fixing the extension to the tent as the instructions are brief. We would recommend to everyone.

Bought this to have a bit of extra space if it rained - It is fantastic - Loads of extra space, Large windows and really feels part of the tent rather than an add on.
Gives plenty of shade whether from rain or sun and really easy to put up and take down.

Purchased this having had the extension on our previous Outwell Tent. This canopy is even better than expected, providing plenty of outdoor covered space, but with large windows so letting the light in. Very easy to attach to the tent and very well secured with three guy lines holding it in place right over the top of the tent. Doesn't even look like an add on when fitted.
