10 Reviews of the Dart DS 200

I bought this tent in the end of season sales for £30 as a quick option for one night camps with my grand daughter. It is a perfect for this - up and away again in less than 5 minutes and far less effort than putting up our Omega 350.

Plenty of of space for two, and not a lot of condensation. I think those who complain about lack of space and condensation must have unrealistic expectations of a modern synthetic material tent.

Perfect for Bike Rallies, just got back and it's easy to pack away (Important when you've been partying all night!), a bit of condensation but leave a small gap in the outer door zip. Very warm and cosy. I paid £35 for it in a sale not sure whether the £60 rrp is worth it. Highly Recommended! :)

Bought this tent in 2009 and used it for the first time in June this year when we decided to stay overnight in the lake district with our daughter, who was camping with her boyfriend.

Very easy to pitch and we managed to fit a double air bed into the tent and found it quite comfortable for the one night. On the down side my wife woke through the night with breathing problems due to the lack of ventilation when it is fully closed down, there was also a bit of condensation due to the airbed touching the sides.

Overall though a very nice little tent which is handy to put in the boot of the car to use as a back up for unexpected guests or even a storage area next to the main tent.

Found it quite easy to fold away and is very light if it is to be carried as a back pack.

I bought this for solo one night camping trips, and I've used it with a double ready bed, which unfortunately due to touching the sides, let water in (no rain just dew) which my ready bed soaked up like a sponge. I think it needs camping mats rather than an air bed, as even a single airbed encroaches on the limited head height.

However, this made a fantastic beach shelter on a blowy day when having a picnic which doesn't consist of sand sandwiches.

We have the black and grey dart without the extra front porch,

We only use it to put up inside the living area of our coleman evolva if we have extra people come and stay, we always leave the door unzipped a little so have no problems with condensation,

We found it hard to fold back up the first few times but now it's easy.

Overall a nice little tent that fits a double airbed in no problem, we do not peg it down because its inside, holds its shape well and once the air beds in does not move.

Goes back into the bag easy and folds flat so it can just be layed on the boots floor.

Bought this for my granddaughter but wanted it to be easy to put up (she's 7) but usable.

Daughter and granddaughter slept in it 1 night on an average summer night. Daughter woke about 2 pm and was having trouble with her breathing (no history of this).

In the morning they woke and the inside was soaking, damp hair and bedding (due to double air bed touching the sides) - there had been no rain!

This is all due to lack of any ventilation.

Sold as a 'festival tent' but in my opinion is nothing more than a play tent.

I bought this tent for quick and easy overnight stops.

It serves its purpose in that respect, but have to say that realistically, its too small.

I use a single air mattress, my son uses a junior readybed (so not as big as a single air mattress) and they only just fit in together. It does have a small porch, but again, it is tiny.

Very quick and easy to erect and put away.

I've used it about 3 or 4 times now, and have had quite alot of condensation each time.

I've decided to change to a vango swift 300 for my 'overnight' tent, and I have to say this is a lot more suitable for a quick overnight tent for two people.

A bit pricey for a little 2-berth tent but it kept 2 of us dry and warm in very wet and windy conditions. Very easy to put up, not so easy to pack it neatly back in the bag. Nice little tent for 1 person or 2 kids.

We bought one of these for our little weekend tours where we pitch for one night at a time and we were really pleased with it. Compared to a small dome tent it does take up a bit more room but it's worth it for the time saved in pitching it, especially if you are going in bad weather. It is snug enough for the two of us and the dog but it's not cramped. There is room at the end of the tent for bags after we have put our air mats in it. Storage pockets, vents and double skin make it a good little tent and handy for one night stop overs. The sewn in groundsheet in the porch gives you a bit more room. It would have been even better if there was a little canopy over the door so you could have the door open a bit if it was raining but you can't have it all ways!

Easy to use plus stow away but disappointing on size. Two berth a squeeze. Helpful little stowage pockets and porch with sewn in groundsheet, double skin all attached ready to use but a dome tent would offer more room and cheaper and take up less space when packed. I've yet to be impressed with any pop up tent for storage and accommodation size and price. This is one of the better ones with a pvc groundsheet as oppose to a nylon groundsheet in some. Used mine once and sold it!
