I've just had my first trip away in my Omega 350 more then happy with it, I had 35mph winds when I was away and it stood there and took it without a flinch, I did have slight condensation on the fly sheet one morning but the temp had gone down to -4c in the night so its to be expected.
Its a good size tent and you could sleep 3 but I think it would be better for 2 unless you are all really friendly.
Easy enough to pitch, I managed to pitch it by myself when it was a bit gusty so no problems there.
All in all a good all round tent.

Great Tent, easy to put up & take down, clip in ground sheet in porch is a bit flimsy, not sure how it will stand up to less grassy pitches. Tension straps are great both inside and out. Small windows in front allow light into porch area. Fly mesh on one door also a nice & useful feature keeps those pesky midges out!
As previous reviewers have stated, plenty of room for 2 adults plus gear in both the sleeping inner & porch area (including crash helmets, bike leathers & boots). Storage in the Inner Tent is good (4 mesh pockets on each side) and stow-pocket is useful for the inner door when fully unzipped. There is plenty of room to sit upright in both inner and porch.
We have just got back from our 1st weekend in this tent and it almost got full marks. The problem with the water ingress when you unzip the door lets it down! We gave the tent a 'shake' before unzipping to get rid of most of the water. You'd expect better from Vango, but that appears to be the only fault we could give it.

If you are thinking of buying a Vango 350, seriously consider the slightly larger 450 (which I have). For less than a kilo extra weight there is more width and height - especially if you are tall (6' plus). I was all for the 350 but looking at the specs on Vango's website persuaded me to go for the larger size. This is for 2 adults and a small dog. Comfortable and well worth an extra £50 - have seen this at around £176 in 2011.
Just a thought but it's better to have more space than not enough?

Thanks to all the handy reviews here I bought the 2011 model, which is improved with an up-turned and peggable porch groundsheet, a perhaps enhanced gutter over the doors (though still heavy rain would be an issue), with velcro on it to stop the zip getting exposed.
My small daughter and I put this up and took it down easily without needing to refer to the instructions. You can pack it away all as one to speed putting it up.
It is ultra stable in high winds and we had no worries about leaks or condensation.
It feels very spacious and airy for 2, and you could get away with 3 adults better than in most 3 man lightweight tents. In the evenings I hung out in the porch area while my daughter slept and although a little draughty it wasn't bad. Although you can't stand upright, you can stand bent over to pull trousers on or sit in a chair.
The orange sleeping area makes it feel light and positive even when it's raining, which is very cheering.
I probably would have bought a footprint groundsheet if there'd been one, but it didn't need it on campsite patchy grass and weeds, and you wouldn't want the extra weight if hiking.
We paired it up with a lovely polycotton Robens Tarp for outside cooking and eating, but you could just about cook inside perhaps - bit risky!

AS the Omega 350 can be re-arranged into twin packs it makes for a roomy and effective walkers tent at just 5 kilos gross weight. However for stopping at the same location for a weekend with the car conveniently parked nearby I think I might buy a more robust and heavier duty tent and just use the 350 when I'm hiking and fishing. The Omega 350 is cleverly constructed but it does need an additional durable ground sheet. It could also do with an optional canopy over the doors as foul weather can easily penetrate the porch area when exiting or entering. Vango make plenty of tents ( I discovered this after purchasing my 350) that have optional 'footprint' ground sheets and canopies but they seem to have decided not to make these items available for the 350. If anyone has any experience of a DIY solution for the Omega 350 in this regard I would appreciate knowing about any possible solutions to this my only complaint about an otherwise great value for money tent.

Bought this tent in July. So far have had good use out of it.
It has seen us through some really dreadful weather and water logged campsites without a leak or drop of condensation. This is the big selling point for us. The tent breathes brilliantly, keeps you dry when its raining and nice and cool when its hot. When its windy it barely moves which gives great peace of mind.
There are some bad points, the stitching isn't good in some areas, a small hole appeared on the inner tent and the groundsheet. Although the tent withheld a nasty storm the wind did manage to bend the poles slightly. None of these things have marked my opinion of it though great value for money we hope for many happy holidays to come.

We bought this tent as a middle ground between our Sigma and Force 10 and it served its purpose. Great space in the porch and easy to pitch. We have placed this review after our 2nd trip, the first in the west lakes was uneventful weather wise so nothing to comment on, however we have just returned from a week on South West Scotland.
Wind - blew a gale for 2 nights and the tent didn't budge. Rain - rained heavily for 14 hours and the tent didn't leak. So I have absolute and total confidence in the tent.
Now for the only minus (may have been mentioned before). The entrance / exit doors after rain soak you when you leave or enter due to poor / lack of gutters. And heres my point, our Colorado didn't, our Sigma doesn't and the Force 10 certainly doesn't, so I think this is such a schoolboy design error for a company with the reputation of Vango for this specification of tent that that I was seriously tempted to drop the rating to 8 on that fact alone.So annoying. It stays at 9 because it did the job in bad weather. Just don't go out.

I bought this tent in a panic after finding the day before my Easter trip to Wasdale that my old Timberline had turned into a cosy nest for a family of mice. I bought the tent on the name and thankfully I wasn't disappointed.
The build quality is excellent, the design is good but could be better, the doors open at an angle so water pours in when its only drizzling. The ground sheet is paper thin and needs a second more robust one underneath. The tent has a system of tapes that brace the tent in a storm and works well. Take plenty of clothes pegs with you as they come in useful for hanging damp clothes on.
The poles and inner have a colour coded system so after a few practice runs you can have the tent up in a few minutes.
Its called a three man but its actually a two plus gear but great for the weekend or a long weekend trip.

Great tent generous living area enough for maybe 2 adults easy to put even in a stiff breeze but would recommend getting a separate groundsheet under the existing as its made out of polyester so not too sure on the strength or durability .The first time you put up the omega allow yourself some extra time to get familiar with the groundsheet in the porch as it is not fixed takes a little time to attach to the flysheet but once on you have the choice to take off I left it on and the inner tent takes minutes to dismantle and pack away its the first tent ive owned that actually goes into its bag without a struggle.

Fabulous tent. Can't give give it 10 out of 10 because a few more tabs in the porch area would be great and I wouldn't mind paying an extra tenner. Build quality a bit suspect as our 1st tent had an eyelet and attaching tab for the inner missing and some of the stitching was awful but good old Yeomans rose to the occasion again and replaced it no problem. We've read a few reviews with similar problems so not surprised. Come on Vango. A bit of quality control please! We're newly returned campers and our memories of Vango are of tents that would survive a small holocaust. However; the Omega 350 when on song is a little cracker. We bought an Outwell Arkansas 5 for long 'Glamping' holidays which is a fabulous tent for that sort of portable holiday cottage camping but the 350 is another sort of animal.So light for it's size and production issues aside when you get a good one it's a real bargain. Not sure i'd take it hairy chest trekking but the tension straps give you a lot of confidence in a gale and we know a few people who have had some very expensive geo tents destroyed in bad weather. Thankfully we haven't experienced any Himalayan weather in N.Yorks yet but we have seen a few beauties on Youtube which gives the 350 full marks for withstanding the plangent British climate.(Perhaps a fuller life is required if you feel the need to video your tent from outside and inside simultaneously in a hurricane. Mind you we're submitting a tent review on a Saturday night so.)
Very roomy for something that can be split and carried by two hikers and for the princely sum of 120 quid. Just watch for the quality issues. Best to buy from a company who will look after you if any problems. Incidentally; most reviews tell you it pitches as one but it comes in 3 parts so give yourself a bit of time when 1st pitching. Really easy, but a bit of time required to fit the inner and porch groundsheet. Also, if the ground is hard the aluminium pegs are a bit useless. Great for carrying weight but if you're booking a site best check reviews to see if the ground ok.
P.S. Decathlon and Sunncamp sell low folding chairs so if you're stuck in during 'light rain showers' the limited head height isn't a problem
We love it and when you find yourself on one of those 'last minute have it away night' production line campsites you may find yourself exchanging knowing nods with other 350 dwellers who value 10 mins up and down and life in a Tardis. Happy camping!

Manufacturer's Description
The Vango Omega Tents are very similar in layout and style to the Vango Beta tents however, they feature two significant differences; they have alloy poles which significantly reduces the weight of the tent and they feature the new 'speed-pitch' system to allows for 'all-in-one' pitching (the Dodgers are interested). These tunnel tents are perfect for 2-season camping and feature a living/porch area large enough to use as living space, bike or gear storage and two entrances.
The Vango Omega 350 a 3-berth version of the tent which features a breathable polyester inner, bathtub inner groundsheet and permanent living area/porch groundsheet. The flysheet is made from Protex 2000, a polyester fabric with 2000mm hydrostatic head with fully taped seams and continuous external pole sleeves. Within the flysheet are air vents and 'crystal clear' windows with internal covers for privacy. The poles are Powerlite 7001-T6 alloy providing precision and strength with flexibility and corrosion resistance. Comes complete with zip entry handled carry bag.
