2 Reviews of the Arrow & Norfolk Lake Side Extension
By: PembPitcher Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2009 Rating: Date: 15/03/2010
This is fantastic addition to an already fantastic tent. It creates a side door way shelter which is much needed on the Norfolk Lake especially in bad weather as all entrances on this tent have sloped walls and tend to let the rain in. Using it as the main doorway also allows you to use the font of the tent as your living space (keeping the main door shut) which again if you use all three bedrooms in your Norfolk Lake is very important for a family for the extra room. I wasn't sure at first if we would really need it but having bought it and tried it I would recommend to everyone to get a side extension on their tents.

It just made the nearly perfect set up perfect. We use the side entrance as the main entrance, we leave shoes outside and step into a clean space. The front area now has room to sit and eat as we don't have to keep a space clear to get in and out of the tent.
Set up time does not add much to the overall time and can be done by one person. It took a while to figure how to get the guys over the tent but a little bit of imagination and a plastic shoe solved the problem.
We have had one stormy night and the canopy did rumble a little, but now we know that happens we take more care regarding the prevailing winds. It makes the bedrooms darker as there is a double layer of canvas.
It also aids ventilation on rainy days as the door can be left open and no rain comes in.
