Vango force 10. What can you say. The high end brand of Vango has been around for a few decades and is well respected.
The sentinel 500.
The tent is fantastic. Not too heavy, easy to pitch. Build quality and attention to detail is first class. Dare I say hillieberg class. Wind tunnel tested in wind speeds in access of 60mph.
Details like being able to close the flysheet air vents from inside to the cargo net type storage net in the top of the inner tent. Doors that also function as vents and zips that can be undo one handed on the inner tent and the door folded away in a storage pocket. Its a very warm tent to sleep in tho im sure the snow skirts help to contribute towards a draft free night in it.
The inner is in a nice bright orange red. Plenty of spaceto sleep 5.
Out in the field it grabs attention in Vango stealth orange.
The only gripes I have are the pegs that come with the tent are standard run of the mill pegs and not v shaped and lastly the f10 print on the tent. Its not big enough and prominent.
I take my 2 young children away camping in this tent and thats why I bought it. When ever its used, it emparts a sense of security and comfort away from the elements. It give me that nice warm feeling that what ever nature chooses to throw at it, my children will be dry and safe.
In short its the nuclear bomb shelter of the tent world.
Brilliant piece of kit but far from cheap.
