Our first tent, which we have now used 3 times, from a two night weekend stay to ten nights. Very easy to put up and there is plenty of room.
We stayed in it with high winds without any problems. The tension bands hold the tent securely in high winds.
The only negative was the tension on one of the side doors was quite tight and during our second trip it came apart. We sent it back to Vango and they replaced the zip with a double zip without any problems, free of charge. The double zip is much better now and hasn't caused any problems since.
On the whole a great family tent.

Used this tent for the first time last year in Wales as a trial run. Then we experienced the absolute worst of the weather (wind and rain) and had no problems at all. In fact we also bought the side porch which we were told not to use in Windy conditions. All in all a remarkably secure unit.
Having now used it 'properly' in France for two weeks I can only endorse my previous thoughts. However this time, we didn't experience the wild weather, in fact temperatures of 100 degrees plus!
Took a family of 6 (all adults) and space was never an issue. Erected the tent in about 20-30 minutes and the 'furniture' completed in a further 30 mins. The porch is a valuable add-on and housed all of the usual cooking/catering/kitchen'esque facilities. Inside the room available for sleeping is more than ample, but more importantly the room available for living is humungous. Not that we ever had to rely on it as most of the time was spent outside in the heat. Lots of little spaces and pockets for small storage and the ventilation systems worked well (when there was a breeze.)
Finally, the whole tent was cleared, collapsed, and packed in a couple of hours on our return. One bit of advice. Remembering how you unpacked it makes packing it a whole lot easier (lesson learned!)
This unit would have secured a 10/10 rating but for one small issue. The pegs supplied are not as robust as they coud be, but for a couple of quid we'll get some decent ones.

This is our third year in our reliable tent that has stood the test of time and all weathers and never let us down will definitely be buying a Vango again in the future, plenty of room in bedrooms and living area the carpet gives it that finishing touch and the footprint extra protection which I would advise to purchase these extra items.

This tent is fantastic we have just had our 3rd holiday in it and has withstood all weathers it is quick to put up so we are thinking of a couple of weekends away as well in the holidays there are 2 adults and 3 children aged 7, 4 and 2 we use the double room and 1 single room for sleeping and the other room for the clothes which leaves a massive area in the centre in case of any bad weather would highly recommend this tent to everyone

It's not easy to find a tent which sleeps a family of 7 in comfort, has a big enough living space to accommodate all of us on rainy days, and doesn't take hours to pitch or pack up. The Tigris 800 is perfect for our needs. Five children/teens can sleep across the big bedroom so we don't need one of the small bedrooms at all, which leaves us lots of storage space. After 2 years and 15 trips in all weathers we have a small tear (more a seam pull) at the end of the zip in one bedroom, and the rest of the tent is as good as the day we first erected it. It rocks a bit when it's blowy but it is a tunnel so not unexpected: and the cross braces inside do stabilise it well. Very pleased and would recommend a Tigris 800 to anyone.

Just back from Isle of Wight after camping over Jubilee Bank Holiday. Great spacious tent (we also have side extension) 2 adults, 4 kids and large dog and still space to breathe!. Had some really wet and windy weather which the tent stood up to well. Did flap and move a fair amount in the wind and was quite noisy. Small canopy pole over side soor is a very tight fit and does pull on the door zips which did concern me. Think I will trim it down a bit before next trip.

We have owned this tent for over a year and have done 3 family camping trips in it, plus once to a festival. It's a massive tent, and has loads of benefits. As a family of 3, we sleep in the four man area and one of the 2 man pods, leaving the final area as storage. In the main living room there's loads of space for tables and chairs and cooking set up. The side doors are brilliant, although might be better if both sides had an electric cable entry point on. Not too much of an issue.
No problem with leaks, withstands winds well due to the tension straps (we only put these up if it is windy as I'm worried about catching these with my head) and is very snug. We bought the groundsheet and the carpet with it, which means you can sit on the floor comfortably without getting cold. The mesh door is very handy, and the king poles for one end are great if you only use one end.
It does take a while to put up and is heavy, but is an enormous tent, so it's to be expected. We've had 4 adults and 3 kids sleep in it for 2 nights and was a squeeze, but doable. Also, we used it for a festival and it became a living space for all of us going. The brow pole over the side door is very tricky to get it - it appears to be slightly too long. The trick we use is to insert it before we peg the tent out - that seems to make it much easier.
A great tent, couldn't ask for more.

Absolutely awesome tent. We have 2 kids (2 & 4) and gives us loads of space. We all sleep in the one big bedroom giving us masses of room inside (great for when its raining!). We also bought the side canopy and use that as a kitchen and a sitting area of an evening. Also puts up with the weather brilliantly. Can't recommend enough.

Bought this tent after reading others reviews found it very roomy plenty of sleeping area and a large living area. Our first ever holiday in Norfolk and we had really heavy rain but we were fine not a single leak and it held up in the wind we had too. Condensation was a bit of a problem and a few more vents would fix it but when the sun comes up it soon goes. Have the side extension as well which stayed in place even in the wind thanks to the Delta pegs. Overall a really good tent we look forward to using again and again

This is a fantastic tent with great space and comfort. Only negatives are:
Small pole over the door seems a little too long making it too tight and the zip a little difficult to do up and undo but it's ok.
One of the smaller rooms have poor quality in craftsmanship although is still very usable.
Tips:
Get Footprint groundsheet for extra protection. And definitely get the carpet, it made a huge improvement on the comfort of walking around with no shoes on inside the tent.
Overall we are very happy with it and when the time comes will definitely get another Vango.

Manufacturer's Description
The Vango Yukon range of tents has been replaced by the Vango Tigris range - which in turn are very similar to the Nevada Range already produced by Outwell. The Tigris has a very simple 5-pole fiberglass pole structure but one that gives great head height and therefore one that gives a light and airy feel. There are also flexible bedroom arrangements and storage options a plenty plus three entrance options. The tent frame is constructed with Powerflex fiberglass poles, a Protex 3000 Polyester flysheet (3000mm hydrostatic head protection) and as is the norm these days, the groundsheet is fully sewn-in to keep out unwanted pests and draughts. The other key features of the tent include a waterproof exterior storm skirt, flysheet first pitching, 2+2+4 (with divider) sleeping compartments, colour coded poles, TBS tension band system for extra strengthening in adverse weather, 10,000mm HH internal polyester groundsheet, cable entry point and tidies, mesh double doors, mesh vents, pelmet and inner tent pockets, 'Crystal Clear' windows, double zip windows (for vent/light/cover flexibility), breathable fabric inner tent, inner tents and divider can be removed when not in use, parallel zipped front door can be used as a sun canopy, canopy over side door, rain gutter zip covers. Saddle bag and repair kit included. Flame retardant throughout.
Capacity: 8 people Price: £300.00 Total Weight: 25.45g Pack Size: 71x47x32cm Pitching Area: 940x500cm Pitching Time: 20min
