User Reviews of the Dornoch 6XL
By: Whatamidoing Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2011 Rating: Date: 01/08/2011
We bought this a few days ago and used it for the first time. Easy to pitch, great bag (more than enough room to fit back in). It's got impressive inside space, although the sleeping areas are a little disappointing. We have 4 single airbeds and cannot fit them in ideally as we had hoped. The 4 person bedroom fits only 3 airbeds, whilst the 2 person bedroom will only fit 1. We've ended up putting 2 airbeds in one bedroom and 2 in the other with the ends sticking out into the living room! As these are for our 2 children, it's not the end of the world. I suppose if we were all in sleeping bags only, then it would fit 4 and 2 at a push . There was a little condensation on the ceiling of the flysheet, but nothing major. Bought on offer for 179 from Millets, can't really complain! Excellent value for money. After some research though, I reckon this is a re-branded Lichfield dornoch 6XL. See what you think!
