User Reviews of the Twister 4

I cant rate this tent any higher! I have taken it on three weekend trips now and had a real variety of weather! One weekend was seriously hot, but having two doors it was nice and cool! In the evenings it stayed pretty warm! As warm as tents get lol! But I did have a weekend away on a cliffside in north Devon, and two evenings in a row it poured and poured with rain - the wind was gusty for sure - but inside I stayed bone dry! Not one single drip! No condensation or anything! I own three tents, but since I have had this one the rest have gone unused! It is amazing!
I use it on my own or with friends! I really think it would be very tight to sleep 4! I have one double air bed and then my bags and cooker etc and there is very little floor space!
As for putting up and down - I have done this in windy conditions on my own! It is very very easy once you get the knack! I may well next time video it and put it on youtube - so those who have a hard time can see how easy it really is!
I just wish they would bring out a 6 or 8 man version!

We bought one of these for weekends and to use for wild camping in Scotland where pitching space might be at a minimum.
Very easy to pitch, first time I put it up with the help of my 8yr old and we did it within 10 minutes. Putting it down is also much easier than I thought it would be and doesn't take long at all.
Surprisingly roomy with an unusual hexagon shape, we fitted in really comfy - 2 adults, 2 children and my husband is 6ft2 but still could stretch out to sleep, even if he couldn't stand up to put his jeans on the next morning.
Withstood heavy rain and fairly strong winds, there were a couple of drips to start with but the tiny holes seemed to seal themselves quite quickly and there were no damp patches in the tent the next morning.
We left shoes and box of food in the porch areas and even though they're open at the bottom, everything stayed dry.
Would recommend.

Excellent! Very quick to pitch (2 of us had it erected in less than 10 minutes and this was the first 'real' time).
The tent felt very stable in quite a strong wind (25 mph). We found it quite easy to pack away once you got 'the knack of it'. It can seem quite daunting at first but you really have to not be frightened of bending the poles.

I've just bought one for weekends, occasional nights, festivals etc and it couldn't be easier to put up (even drunk). Packing away wasn't too hard either - having aired it I managed to get it back in its bag without too much of a fight in my bedroom and in only a couple of minutes. The door design is a bit on the poor side - as soon as you open the outer one, any water on the flysheet immediately finds its way onto the floor (and your clothes if you've been daft enough to leave them there). The 3/4 flysheet was a bit unnerving but managed to keep both Yorkshire and Wales rain out. Felt surprisingly secure in the wind for a (genuine) four person tent.
It only gets a 7 because of my high standards when it comes to what I expect from a tent.

Simply a brilliant concept! This twisting method of unpacking and packing is what's so brilliant. It's so easy and quick but you do need to practise a little before the first outing. I have just returned from using ours in S Wales amid howling gales, torrential rain and steaming heat.
It 'worked' perfectly - no trouble at all. The slight downside is that you have to be fairly strong to wind it back into it's carry bag.

The Twister Rocks! We have never been camping or put up a tent, it was a doddle, we were up and ready in about 10 mins. Two of us and our dog had a comfy couple of nights, stood up well to wind and mist and I am now a convert to camping and cant wait to go again! By the way, it was most importantly easy to dismantle and get back into the holder too - imagine getting an inner tube back in your tyre.

I loved this tent (even though I'm used to the family 6 person tents) It was surprisingly easy to set up, we had it up in five mins. And it was very robust when the wind and rain tried to spoil our trip. In the morning we were still dry, and you don't need a large area to pitch on. I was amazed at the high quality at a really affordable price good value in my books (even if I wasn't paying)

Manufacturer's Description
The Twister is a revolutionary new pop-up tent (protects you from flying cows). The inner tent is pre-attached to high tensile 6.9mm fibreglass poles which, when packing the tent away, are 'twisted' into the heavy-duty carry bag provided. When removed from the bag, the Twister pops immediately into shape and can be pegged down and used immediately. The inner tent is made from 190T polyester with waterproof PU coating (3000mm hydrostatic head protection). The Twister 4 also comes with a ¾ flysheet (also 190T polyester with waterproof PU coating) which offers the user additional protection from the elements but does not add significantly to the lightweight nature of the tent. Other features include 2 doorways, vent patches, pre-attached hi-viz guylines.
Weight: 4.8kg Pack Size: 83cm diameter Dimensions: (Outer) 400x300cm; (Inner) 300x250cm Height: (Inner) 120cm Colour: Rococo Red/Paloma Grey
