We bought this to go with our new Monterey 5 this year. We have had a couple of problems with it and have returned it now.

First problem was noticed as soon as it was put up for a trial run. The black plastic stoppers on the poles had all cracked and several fell out. I guess these are to prevent tearing the fabric as the poles are pushed through so they really do need to be there.

Second problem was when we used it in Cornwall. We came back from a day out to find 3 out of the 4 pegging attachments had pulled the stitches apart and the 4th one was failing too.

The good part of this is I can really recommend outmegastore as a supplier. We had a replacement set of poles as soon as we reported the fault and they did not quibble about exchanging the whole until when we exchanged it for the awning.

What I would also recommend is not buying tents online or mail order. I'm sure a lot of our problems have been caused by couriers and we have waited in on 5 separate days to get this sorted. Next time I will buy local. I just wish outdoor megastore had a branch in Somerset
