I have just become the owner of a secondhand 5th generation Camplet Concorde and my first impression is very favourable though I have found spares/additions hard to find and then I find them all expensive. Being just up the road from Camperlands I suppose I am luckier than many who have to rely on postal purchases.
We haven't tried the TT out on a campsite yet but have erected it several times in the garden which we found not quite as easy as the videos made it look, especially the repacking element, but we are getting better. We haven't joined the bent pole club yet but the previous owner certainly did. As the day will come when inevitably I join the club, I have been busy in the garage fabricating a replacement section.
All the above notwithstanding, my wife and I who are on the wrong side of 65, have booked the ferry for September with the intention of meandering through Europe to a final destination at a rally in Spain
Enough of my rambling and what I would like to know is if there a Camplet Owners Club? I have seen earlier mention of this but the trail to fizzle out. It would be good to speak to other Camplet owners and share experiences and hints/tips

Hi we are not in a club but had our complete savanne for 6 years now and love it. Our packing times got quicker with practise and we find it a very comfortable unit. Enjoy your trip!

We absolutely love our Savanne. We're both in our 60's and hubby is an amputee in a wheelchair.
Yes they do make it look easy to put up. We manage with a rope attached to luggage rack with hubby pulling while I lift up..if you get me.
This may help others who aren't quite as young as they used to be

Thanks for your reply. We tried again last night and the trailer tent went uo ok. Packing down seems to still be a problem as it appears when closing the lid that it does not align properly. I am sure we will get there in the end

Camplet Concord 2009for about 4 years now. Thinking of upgrading to Gen 5 next year.

Packing away gets easer.

Closing is not to bad and gos in a particular order on ours. But canít think of it right now. But youíll get in a rhythm.
