Hi, I have bought my first camper van , an old converted Renault Master panel van, been quite well done by previous owner however does not have an aerial fitted for tv. I'm on a bit of a budget at the moment after buying and insuring so don't really want to pay a fortune for a status one. Iv seen magnetic ones on eBay about £20 and wondering if they are any good, I'm not keen to have to erect poles for a normal one every time we stop. Can anyone recommend these or another without parting with a fortune ?
I used one in my then Trigano for a while. ie it was under warranty and I was awaiting for the aerial to be changed as it did not work, and yes i'm still using it now watching tv in my bedroom/studio/computer room, stuck on the corner of the window that has one of those metal corner things built in, excellent picture. mine was given to me by the dealer ie. keep me happy about not being able to watch tv in camper. just looked at it and there is absolutely no name on it to pass on. all I can tell, you is that it is 14 cms long and the magnet is very strong, I used to stick it on the side of the camper, the wire is very thin so it went through the shut window no problem.
