Faulty charger? You need to check the voltage at the battery terminals, have a look on the caravan forum for a similar thread that started earlier today, your problem sounds similar.

Evening! So checked all and found the fuse had gone in 13 amp plug! So no charge whole of winter! The light is now on, on the internal charger question is will the battery take a charge from dead flat?

Hi,
You might get lucky using a smart charger,I have a CTek which has resurrected two seemingly dead batteries.
Good luck.

Greg

Hi all
Just bought a new to us 2006 bessacarr cameo " beautiful" took it out for first time this weekend to get to know it " wow" so different than our old 1991 Ace jubilee ambassador!
1st dilemma, and still is " motor mover"
I've seen it working when purchasing it.
Not battery in controller " changed that"
When I pressed battery button above door it reads " full".
I am aware there is a box under front seat but not touched anything yet!
I've read about a connecting wire that attaches to controller ,which I want given , is this the problem?
I have a couple more bits niggling me but I'll do 1 at a time.
Thank you in advance

I presume you have turned on the mover's master switch? All the other 12 volt stuff will work without it on, as it's a completely separate circuit. I'm not familiar with your caravan, but on mine the master switch for the mover is in the battery compartment alongside where the EHU plugs in. This switch is normally left off as far as I know. I certainly leave mine off until I need the movers. If the caravan is new to you it's easy to forget.

Thanks collin21 for reply, if by the master switch you mean the red connecting key in battery box then I did turn that on. Even though the gauge over the door reads full, I think I will double check.
Thanks

As the leisure battery is showing a full charge at the condition gauge and the red isolation key is turned on, there most likely will be a fuse somewhere for the motor mover circuit which is worth checking to see if it has blown. It's probably just something simple as you have done everything else possible.

Yes, that is the switch I meant. If that is on and the mover still doesn't work, I'm inclined to agree with Tango. It's probably something simple like a fuse.

Not sure which mover you have. We have a powrtouch and have to hold the power buttons down on the remote after switching on the isolator.

The other thing is that if the isolator has been left on for a while, you might have to switch it off then on again. This is a feature which would prevent your grandson getting hold of the remote and driving you away when you're still in bed if you'd forgotten to switch the isolator off.

The isolator is usually positioned so you cannot get the EHU lead plugged in while the isolator is on. Another safety feature.
