Hi i’m trying to put a double passenger seat in a fiat Ducato 2001 model to carry two passengers. The fixing holes are 330mm w x 330mm back to front.I cannot find any seats that will fit this size.I am just thinking if seats have ever been available for this size.

Unless you want a brand new one, I'd try a vehicle breakers.
You will also want to consider the seat belt fittings and possibly the electrics for the pre-tensioner if airbags are fitted.

The Ducato panel van would have double passenger seat as standard. Should be able to get one from a breaker. On some vans the twin & singles plinths use the same bolt holes so you may be lucky.

Might count as a “modification” that you have to declare so your insurance cover is not invalidated. (I don’t know for sure, but it seems you have to declare the oddest things.)

Defo a mod - also need to notify DVLA & get V5c updated as number of seats is noted on doc.

Mornin' all (haven't posted for AGES!)

Presumably the Boxer of that era would be the same(similar)?
If so, that would help broaden the search..

Worth bearing in mind as to what sort of seatbelt the middle belt will have?
It may only be a lap belt? this is only a guess but worth considering.

(apologies- I have only just noticed that Boxers had been raised.)

Craigbray, only just spotted your original post. Was wondering if you were just replacing the seat to carry one more "seat belted" passengers?. Or maybe to have the said replacement swivel, to enable it to be part of the living area of your van. Videos for both types of replacements are available. 'How to', videos for both on Youtube. Showing sound measuring, cutting etc. I would have a look they can save a costly mistake and time running down to the motor parts shop. Captain Lightening and Fiona W have both offered great tips with their knowledge.
