Glad you enjoyed it. More usually called the North Coast 500 though, that’s the website name.
Other coastal circuits are available, some have titles: round Kintyre is the K60 (it’s 60 miles around the Isle of Arran but there’s isn’t an official A60), a loop in Dumfries & Galloway is the SW something (300?) and there’s one in NE Scotland too.
Personally, I’m very fond of the west coast (especially Argyll) so I’d add more onto the Kintyre loop - Lochgilphead to Oban and on to Fort William. If you then went up to Mallaig, that’s a favourite stretch of coast around Arisaig; ferry over to Skye, bridge off at the other side and lo! you’ve joined the NC500.
So when you’ve done Ireland, come back & visit us again! The Scottish coastline is longer than the coast of France….
