I understand baking soda washed down with vinegar are both ok. But what's the method? Do I dilute the vinegar first? Any tips please.

The model of MH makes no difference, but I assume itís a Thetford toilet? Whatever you put in the reservoir will clean the bowl at every flush. At the end of a trip, I use spray Dettol or anti bac on the seat & bowl, then bin the kitchen paper wipe.
However - the bicarb & vinegar is great for sinks; a teaspoon of bicarb & a slug of vinegar. Let it foam (exciting!) then pour just-boiled hot water to flush it all shiny clean.

I am going to be a little pedantic here. It is not Baking Soda, or Baking Powder. It is Bicarbonate of Soda which is added to any acid such as vinegar or lemon juice. You are in fact making Baking Powder which is Bicarbonate of Soda plus Creme of Tartar as the acid. You could equally well just pour Baking Powder into the bowl plus some water to activate it and get the fizz.
There is no point putting it directly into the flush tank because it will have fizzed long before it ever gets into the bowl.

Too many years in bakeries to not understand the principles.

Thank you... so Spray Dettol is ok on plastic units, sinks etc. Interesting.

Others may disagree. But thatís my experience. If youíre not comfortable with that, plain olí warm water & liquid detergent will be fine. Iíve used wet wipes too, binned after.

Oh I understand "binned" now... I always bin them so I didn't think anyone would flush considering the damage they do. Good message you are sending.

Are we talking about cleaning a cassette toilet ? All I do is spray the bowl with some non bleach spray disinfectant once a day or so. When emptying cassette you can spray inside compartment & wipe with sponge.
