I will RAVE about Shropshire Blue or Strathdon Blue, but I’ve discovered a lovely cheese recently - Anster, made near Anstruther. Nutty & almost a crumbly cheddar, delicious with sourdough. (Recommend the Ian Mellis cheese shop in Morningside if you ever stay at the Mortonhall site.)
You’re welcome. I do VEER sharply away from Dunsyre Blue as it’s very strong indeed - which is why it’s a favourite for some people. (You can taste any cheese before you buy it, at Mellis.)
