Changing this conversation topic entirely; which do you prefer, KALE or cabbage?
I'm a cabbage fan, but have just read the following:
'Kale is a powerhouse, and packs in much higher levels of most nutrients than green cabbage – it provides around half our daily needs for vitamin A and folate, and all our vitamin C requirements. It's also one of the richest food sources of lutein and zeaxanthin – it has 81 times more than savoy cabbage.'
I'm fond of both Kale & Cabbage, and recently tried Sea KELP. You can eat it raw, cooked, as a powder, and it's included in a number of supplements. Because of its versatility and health benefits, kelp is typically used in sushis, sauces, salads, as seasoning and other products.
When I come back from visiting NZ, I will PINE for a crisp Chardonnay, or a delicious Pinot Noir - I’ve enjoyed the “cellar doors†while I’ve been here.
