I’ve read that we shouldn’t RACE to eat our food: after 20 minutes, your stomach tells you it’s had enough. Eating slowly means you eat less.
(This obviously doesn’t apply to an ice cream cone on a sunny day.)
Definitely over-indulged, and I’m of the tear it open brigade, whether croissants or baguettes.
It’s hard to BEAT freshly baked goods from a French family-run boulangerie as a holiday treat.
