Wow
Well done marg6
You are correct .
It was filmed at Flagstaff Limestone quarry at Penmon , near Beaumaris .

(The stone was used to build the two bridges across the Menai straits )

Along the Anglesey coast,
Where you could see Puffin Island and the Lighthouse .
Also with views of the mainland

the filming was well editied, it seemed on the tv that the ground celebs arrived first and then those that absailed down arrived later in cars, so in real life they would have passed them getting to penmon point.

I wondered about that! I couldn't remember a cliff face anywhere near one of my favourite castles!

I do remember seeing a flying formation of black helicopters flying by on their way to Wales though!

Now that the show is over .
It's brought a lot of publicity to the area .
Abergele has became famous and very popular town .
And It's Boosted the Economy of North Wales .
As well as Tourism .
Just what it needs

....Except it's going to be hard for us that have been going there for years now to book onto a campsite. :(

Always loved Abergele. It's a lovely little one street town, but has everything you need.. butchers, bakers, pubs! Most people (previous to 'I'm a Celeb') either went to Rhyl, or past and on towards Llandudno.

I can understand your concerns ,now that Abergele has got a lot of publicity.
Which will probably spoil this Charming Town .
I have camped at Manorafon Farm two years ago . ( On a Cycle tour)
And walked all around Abergele and found it a lovely place to explore .
It has a lot going for It .
Also the beach nearby and coastal path .
We where going on family camp at Manorafon early on this summer .
But had to cancel due to the Covid19.
Chances of ever getting on this site again will now be very limited .
So In that respect I agree with you.

I've camped at least once or twice a year at Manorafon Farm for years now. Bet I can't get a booking next year! Lovely place, just enough of everything.
