I can fully understand someone doing research, I am very fastidious when researching myself, but it's always before I actually buy something!

Whereas.......

He's one of the backroom boys, not a boy band by the way , who works at a place called Testla.

He could be the tea boy or water boy.

I find it even sadder when someone feels the need to highlight spelling mistakes!

Blueexpo97, you need to do some research, that Tesla Model X that Bessie spotted would tow your Coachman caravan with ease, albiet with reduced range of course.

A little bit bigger than a Coachman!

Francais, it would be massively reduced range, not even worth hooking up, and as for pulling a Jumbo jet, a strong man can do that! 💪💪

A bit like me saying I can run 10 miles, yes I can, but it is going to take me an awful long time! Mo Farah need not worry, neither can a diesel when it comes to towing.

Edit: The reduction in range when towing with a Tesla X has been described as “almost laughable”. Therefore it surely cannot be described as a serious tow vehicle.......Can it!

There you go Blue, from around £85k, you can get a vehicle that will tow your Coachman to the end of the road, providing there are no hills!

What you waiting for man.

Check out Bjorn Nyland on YouTube, he tows a decent size box trailer all over Norway completing Nimber tasks, with his Tesla Model X.

The effect on range is not as bad as you might think, of course towing a caravan is quite different.

To be fair when I first started this post, I was only sujesting that a BEV would be perfectly suitable for towing up to say 750kg unbraked trailer, similar to what many tent campers do.

And I did think the Tesla Model 3 would be the first, but my thinking now is that Tesla may hang on until the Tesla Model Y comes out.

You lot with caravan's are pretty stuffed for a BEV to be able to do the same, for the foreseeable future that is.

And people who tow diddy little trailers to the South of France . Of course you will be alright once you buy your own ICE vehicle.
