Genuine question. Is it feasible to have say, 150 fast charging points at every services?

Given time I see no reason why not, that’s if its needed.
Why not have power stalls like on caravan club sites ? Our local fire station has overhead ones outside the main rolled doors.

Asda in Trafford park has electric timing devices sunk into the floor to see how you’re parked for as it has a time limit, the car park wasn’t originally made with these they were retro fitted after without any major problems

Perhaps this will be a way for a few without access to charging facilities at home due to on street parking to charge their cars.

Off course with fast chargers in the supermarket car parks, you will not be able to near to them, due to the taxi drivers taking over them.

Yep, the current phrase (pun intended) is that you have been iced, that's when a fossil car driver parks up in a EV charging bay.

Now that would be annoying, special parking bays are there for a reason, wether that be Disabled, parent and child or an EV charging bay. No excuse for that, just lazy bas**rds.

Well it's no wonder that VAG group have teamed up with Tesco, just seen a video of the YouTube site fullycharged, doing a test drive in the yet to be revealed VW Golf ID, full electric BEV, this is not the fossil Golf with an electric motor, but a fully from the ground up BEV designed car.

In fact the VW Golf ID (working name) is rear wheel drive, now that is interesting.

The VW Golf ID will be produced in vast numbers, and any current Golf driver will covet one, that's for sure.

The car is said to have 310 mile range, so will be up there with other BEV's as we continue on with the transition from fossil cars, to ones that run on sustainable energy.

If you thought the Tesla M3 was going to be a game changer, wait until the VW Golf ID arrives, early 2020 from what I can glean.

The VW Golf is probably the most popular car in it's class in Europe, and I can understand why having driven Golfs for the last 13 years.

Watched a video on youtube earlier, woman trying to pump petrol into her Tesla.

Owners of the Model 3 complaining about the paintwork which was a $2500 option, panel gaps that takes them back to the 1970's.

Claims of producing 6000 cars a week have been proven to be false, its around 3500 cars per week.

By the time it hits the UK there maybe issues fitting a towbar to the aluminium chassis. It may not comply with EU specs. He really should have worked with a major car producer, making silly mistakes that they cured 20+ years ago.

By the time they even think of producing RHD vehicles for the UK there will be several cheaper options from mainstream manufacturers.

Nothing unique, motors designed & made by Magna? Batteries developed with Panasonic and Samsung?

Its just the hype of the $35k all elecric which got the attention, but you still cannot buy one for $35k.

Why did Nissan not stretch the leaf to a full sized family car and stick 2 or 3 battery packs in?

Owners have posted copies of the handbooks where it states not suitable for towing.

Post 1997 licence holder?

Max tow weight = Cars gross laden weight + Caravans gross laden weight.

These 2 figures must not exceed 3500kg. And the Caravans gross laden weight must not exceed the cars UNLADEN weight.

Unless the manufacturer has set a lower limit.

They bought the factory from Spyker, who purchased Saab from GM but were unable to make a profit.
Assume they bought rights for that model. It looks very similar to last ones made.
Development done in Trollhaten in Sweden, probably will be built in China as well.

Yep blueexpo97, good time to buy Tesla stock.
Tesla need to make a lot of Model 3's during 2019, but 10,000 per week is quite a hill to climb for the company, but Tesla is looking to buy some former GM plants.
So it's all looking good.
