Very stylish, Sam! If we were in the market for a second tent for short breaks away, I'm sure my choice would be a bell. Yours looks lovely.

Ok, here's mine. Bearing in mind it was only the second time we had ever put a tent up in our lives :) It's a Vango Vista 800 (£129.99 from GO) and the Premium Extension
G'day Odd's, nice to see the Vista with an extension :-) and what a bargain for a Vango. We have the same set up but not yet purchased the extension, so please forgive me asking, have you had the extension on the side entrance? I need to use all 4 sleeping pods so if you have had the tunnel on the side i'd be very grateful if you could help me out :-)
Thanks again

This is mine,I bought it in 2006 from a motorcycle show in Peterborough,it was a display item and we only went in it because it was raining hard. The salesman came running along and asked if we wanted it,at firstI said no but after a bit of bartering we agreed on a price of ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,£25.Thats how it all started.
We've used it around 6 or 7 times a summer since but now it's time for a nice new one.In 2011 we are having an early week in Wales then a fortnight in the south of France mid-summer and then a late week in either The Lakes or Cornwall, plus many short weekends as well, can't wait.
The top picture is from Skegness in 2009 and the bottom one is Cornwall 2010

The tent I have been using since 05' is very similar, and it took me around France and closer to home too. It's served it's purpose well but I went for the Icarus 500 this year. Love the bike and trailer.....very cool.

Well, first there's the Montana 6, bought to tempt DH to join me and to convince him that camping can be comfortable. (Haven't succeeded yet but working on it.)

Then came the Vango Beta 350 - much quicker and easier to put up for DD and me.

Can't quite justify buying the bell tent but it's beautiful!

And that's it - for the moment!

Out of interest, where were the second and third pics taken? Looks like my kind of site.

The problem with putting it on the side is it doesn't stretch far enough over the tent, though I only had a quick go in the back garden. I have been thinking of extending the elasticated top of it so that it could be used there. If anyone has any ideas on the best way of doing this I would be really interested to know how.
Thanks.

If you are yet to buy an extension and intend to use it on the side, you should really buy the Tunnel Extension, as the others like the premium extension aren't designed to go on the side.

The Vango picture was taken at Bunchrew campsite near Inverness, the first bell tent photo (and the Montana photo) was at Luss campsite on Loch Lomond, and, in case anyone's interested, the bell tent in the woods was Rothiemurcus campsite near Aviemore. All gorgeous locations.
