First trip out with the Carolina 3, not bad for a first pitch without testing it first. Lessons learned, not sure how I'd do this alone tho!

I love the airbeam, but just how simple was the puncture?

apparantly simple Kevin - the pic of it from the side without the porch the beam is actually deflated then, you just cant tell from the outisde at all, only the inside.
hubby said it was like fixing a cycle puncture, so I'm presuming he used a bucket and water. Unzip the outer beam casing and remove the tube and off he went.

How to upload and post your photos
1. Go to http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/ and search for your tent
2. Click on the tent to bring up the details page, then click on the link for Member Uploaded Images
3. Click Browse to select an image from your computer, and select the photo(s) you want to use. Enter a comment, then click on the Upload Image button
4. The photo will then be uploaded and appear on the website.
5. If you want to include the photo on a thread, or post, click on it once uploaded, to bring up the large version. You'll then see the photo, and at the bottom a link, something like http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/images/userimages/3125.jpg
6. Highlight the entire link address, and right click and copy it
7. Back in your post, click on the button, to include an image.
8. Paste the link from step 6, and click okay
9. Submit your post! The image will now appear in your post on the thread.
Doing it this way ensures images are uploaded to one place, and kept to a reasonably uniform size for posting on threads. It also means they won't disappear into the ether ever, as they are hosted on this website. Finally it means users of the tent reviews page will also benefit, as well as those who read the forums.

okay got the details - remove beam from tent casing, unzip beam casing, remove inner tube, inflate, find leak by sight or if not then try water bucket (should be easy by sight and sound), cover with section of repair patch sticky pad, leave 30 minutes, re-insert into casing, inflate 80% and put back into tent casing, fully inflate ....
et voila! All repaired. Took about 2 minutes in total, apart from the 30 minute wait for patch to be safely stuck on.

Gatser
Its the Sandringham C&CC site, one I highly recommend. Gave everyone lots of space so you didn't feel crowded. Not overrun with facilities but then I dont go for sites with everything but the Ferris wheel.
