Got to finish our trailer before easter, I need some new wheels but the mini & metro 10" are like rocking horse droppings so does anyone know of a 12" car wheel with 4" PCD holes please.

I saw them but the wrong end of the country, I fancy the 12" metro wheels but they are no longer made either, so if anyone knows a 12 or 13" wheel with 4" PCD put a load of people out of their misery & let us know please.

2gocampin thanks for the reply.

The only car I can think of with 12" wheels is the Hillman Imp (I'm very old) but they must be hard to find these days.

Id realy like to be able to extend my Erde 142 with ABS roof to something just like in  Tinny001's picture.

Is anyone able to point myself in the direction of how this can be accomplished.

Hi i'm fortunate and work in engineering i got the galvanised steel from one of our suppliers cut to 300mm and bent the four pieces to fit the outside dimensions of the trailer and a 15mm return bend on the top to create the platforn for the ABS lid to fit.I also kept the rear removable to help with loading / unloading. I pop-riveted the sides to the trailer making it a permanant job and very secure.

The best bit is that it cost me nothing only a couple of hours to make and fit

Tinny

Hi G,Winger,

Like the bike and trailer, looks very tidy  all you need now is a sidecar fitted with a roofbox on the top and your be well away. You could even run a second trailer from the sidecar
