I just wondered who was where, what are you up to? Is it raining, is it fine?

Did you have a fry up this morning? Could you have a campfire or BBQ last night?

I love posts where people are actually out there camping!

Nosey aren't I!

Ooooo sounds lovely. We love France but have never bitten the bullet and camped there. We thought we might give it a go next year.

Please, please post while you are there if you can - I love to hear what people are up to!

Blimey...they'll be taking TV's next

I am looking to go somewhere pretty soon...hopefully before the BH. Vacant pitches are getting thin on the ground at the moment though so it will be a question of where I can find one.

24 hours ago we were, but after 3 inches of rain in 24 hours we packed up and left this morning - it was horrendous - rain so heavy you couldn't hear each other speak in the tent and it went on for a couple of hours.

No fun for anyone, no chance of getting anything dry as due to the high winds we had to take the extension down.

I'm in the cafe at Applecross campsite at the moment, Internet access thanks to their free wifi , otherwise no phone signal for any network.
Torrential rain yesterday left me with a moat round my tent and didn't sleep much last night because of gale force gusts of wind.
Despite that, wouldn't be anywhere else , having a great time!
