I'm just trying to work out what the various windows are. There is also a hangin pole for towels or kitchen utensils or whatever to go in.

It is very windy here, but I want to leave it up to air, so I'm going to have to fashion some guy ropes from washing line or something and try and dig out some tent pegs - easier said than done when we are in the middle of emptying the room with access to the loft.

Very good condition for a tent that was destined for the skip, let alone being a Cabanon!!!

Looks good, I was imagining a cute 'little' girl guide type tent.
The next question... Are you going to use it?

I really don't know what to do with it now. I love it. The front will zip undone and roll up completely - or you can unroll a panel at the right hand side from floor to ceiling. It's exciting. But making inners would be a big project for me, and I am completely in love with our Bear Lake for a holiday tent. But I can't bear the thought of letting it go or it not being used. It may be a party gazebo for a bit? I really don't know.

And yes - I was expecting a scout tent at best. This was heavy, but when we saw the bag we just thought it was a thick groundsheet so when we opened it it was a real surprise. Apparently I did a lot of shrieking. My whole family are taking the mick now. But honestly, you don't expect to just come across something like that every day do you?

P.S. thanks for the positive identification tiny. We had a French penpal called elody when we were small so I love the name too.

You could buy universal inners from EBay. We have done this in our cabanon Athena, we use one where the kitchen set up would go as we now have a utility tent.

Wow, how lucky are you! Sorry but why do you need to fashion some guy ropes from washing line. Unless I'm mistaken they're already on the four corners.{unless that's after you put them there of course} Universal inners and loose ground sheet and you're up and running....Superb

BZ! Looks in great nick. There is a guy on eBay who sells a lot of inners so you should be able to pick them up with ease.

johnwils - yes, good spot, there were 4 perfectly serviceable guylines on the corners. I was just stressing about pegs and got a bit confused in my excitement.

geoffprinter - that's not me in the pictures, it's my long suffering other half. He only wears dresses on Friday nights :-D

Brings back memories. We had a bungalow frame net in the 80's bed rooms went at the back, they had the sewn in ground sheets now known as 'sigs' They were great for camping with children, plenty of room in the bedrooms and the living area. Space to the left of door(looking from front) was the cooking area obscured plastic could be rolled up for ventilation or top of door left open if it was wet. Very much doubt you would get that quality of cotton canvas now. They were state of the art for camping when they first became popular no crawling round on the floor and plenty of head space, just like a bungalow!
