With a view to comments re Karsten inflatable tents, I'd be very interested to find (or be offered!) any reference to "air leaks", "Damaged tubes", "exploding tubes when the weather gets a bit warm" or even "Deflating overnight as it's dropped a bit cool again"!

Bear in mind that this Karsten design has been going since 1981, so closing in on 40 years on the market, and I've yet to hear/read of such shenanigans with a Karsten. And this original design has had next to no "improvements" and/or design changes during that 38 years, as far as the inflation system/design side of things go.

As for all the other brands, it appears pretty easy to find reference to various failures, and all during a far, far less impressive duration on the inflatable tent market.

One can make all the flippant remarks they may so wish, but it won't lessen the proven reliability of the Karsten Tent. Nor will it improve the reputation of other brands.
The Karsten tent appears no less reliable than the finest and most reputable poled tents, and arguably more so, when storms hit.

I'm more than happy to be proven wrong of course... but I'd appreciate facts, not opinions.

The only time we lost pressure from our Iíll fated air beam was due to operator error. The valves werenít screwed in properly. This looks similar.
