Right, I am so fed up and looking for a change, so I have decided to camp this weekend.
Got my Bivvi and carp bed etc so off into my garden. BBQ ready and also fire pit ready.
Hike on Saturday morning and collect wood, yeah I know its second best but got to be better than doing nothing, yes?

Generally yes. But it's also already Sunday evening.

Perhaps that's why I am fed up, you've got it in one, next week end.
Mind you if you had read if properly would have been difficult to collect wood on Saturday, yesterday?

Good for you! A reminder of the “camp out to help the NHS” that happened last year.
Nippy though - minus 4 here last night. So don’t forget your woolies for head, hands & feet.

My central heating broke down a month ago and they can't repair it just yet, so it is more or less like camping inside my house, with a fan heater on full blast and snuggling under a duvet in a freezing cold bedroom!!

I have been sitting out by my fire pit, but can do without a muddy wet tent drying in the house.

I saw a programme tonight that said sleeping in the cold activates your brown fat (who knew?) and makes you lose weight.

Look forward to your camp out next weekend, Bramidan.

Well the person who makes the decisions in our house has put a finish to my plans! Largely by using logic.
The best I can hope for is the fire pit and BBQ.
Mind you I think I might have got carried away a bit, it's dark so early so I think I would have got bored plus I was out walking the dog the other evening and might have under estimated how cold it is!
Tail now tucked safely between my legs.
Still every man has to have dreams.

Absolutely! I'm going stir crazy not being able to go away, but it's way too cold for me in a tent in the garden! Tempted to sleep on the camper though, on the drive, with the heating on all night!! Sad probably, but would make me happy
