My canvas tent now has a hole as a mouse decided to have a nibble .
Could anyone recommend a brand of repair kit please?

You might find that the tent bag is the same material as the tent. If so you can use it to patch the hole and seal the stitching. Pesky mice. Storing the tent in plastic box may stop them.

Depends where the hole is, it may not matter. We camped for years with an L shaped tear in the front awning. If it matters, a previous thread recommended awning repairs done by various sail makers, if you’re anywhere near a marina.

-------------
2022 = 8 sites, 22 nights. 2021 = 11 / 29. 2020 = 4 / 20. 2019 = 13 / 35. 2018 = 20 / 33. 2017 = 10 / 22. 2016 = 19 / 33. 2015 = 15 sites / 27 nights. Didn't count 1976 to 2014.

You can buy dacron sail repair tape in various widths and colours. The tape can be cut into a patch and simply sticks on. Patch both sides.

Try googling some.

For a home repair, try Tear Aid type A.

If you google it you'll see application videos. Basically just clean the area around the hole in the canvas and cut off any loose threads. Cut 2 identical patches (one for outside, one for inside) and remember to round the edges.

Best of luck with it.
