this my be a stupid question to you but,

if the micro switch is broken on one cold tap , would this not allow any water to any tap, or would the offending tap  be on all the time or off.

as you can guess i have a broken tap but the pump does not pump could this be due to the switch

cheers Alan

as clear as mud

If you had a single faulty switch, I would expect that particular tap to be either 'on' or 'off', depending on the fault condition of the switch. The switch wouldn't normally prevent the remaining taps from functioning, unless you'd suffered failure of all tap switches of course.

Have you checked the pump independently, i.e., temporarily wired to 12v to check it's running?
