I have developed a crack at the top left of my Rangers front window. It runs diagonally from the very edge for about 3 inches.
Do I need to replace the window or is there a repair procedure I could carry out?

I'm sorry to say that any repair I've ever seen in a cracked window has usually been only a temporary fix as the results are pretty obvious and rather ugly should it propagate. The constant flexing will undoubtedly only result in a longer and longer split. The usual fix for that is to drill a very small hole at the end of the split to release the stresses, not good in a window but better a 3" crack than a 3' one I suppose.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day,
Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for a whole weekend.
