I have an abbey freestyle 2000, and when I plug it into the cars electrics the ns indicator stays permanently on. I've done the usual changing the bulbs and clean the terminals and today I changed the hole socket and cable into the caravan but it still stays on I'll try the car socket tomorrow. Anybody got any idea why this is going on.

Are you referring to the 7 pin black trailer plug and socket or the later 13 pin version?

Sounds to me like the fault is actually on the car. Probably a stray strand of wire making contact with the terminal for the n/s indicator inside the car's socket.

Best Regards,
Colin

The socket is actually on the car not the caravan. It's the plug that's on the caravan, that's where I was getting confused with your post.
