Finally been able to get out in the van, first time since France last year! On a site in Wales, so toilet block is closed. Guess what, flush wont work, fortunately were only away for the weekend and managing! Had a look in handbooks etc but nothing happening. Any suggestions?

Weve looked for the fuse but cant find. There is a removable place under in the cassette locker but doesnt seem like something we should be removing.

It could be one of several things. Pump seized, fuse blown, water corroded contacts, faulty flush switch etc. A volt meter would help to identify where the problem is.

It might be that the impeller inside the pump has seized up through lack of use. There are loads of YouTube videos that show you how to access the toilet pump and then use a nail file or a knife of screwdriver or something similar to make the impeller move manually. Once you have freed it, it should start to work again.

Really daft question I know but can you use the flush on a leisure battery? Never tried it so really dont know! I want to have a go at the repair mentioned above but shes in storage - no EHU nearby.

Because the toilet is 12volt and runs off battery as long as your battery is switched on and not flat.
