Tent has arrived this lunchtime.... No space to erect inside (surprise, surprise) and garden not big enough either... Mmmmm...
I've hefted the tent on back (in bag, a la rucksack, obviously) and it seems suitable for a walk for an hour or two... could leave car, take public transport and then walk for a couple of hours...(5 or 6 miles..?) wouldn't want to do more, but interesting options now seem possible.....
Packaging looks good... compact, good handles, black and yellow... trying to ignore fact that B & Y are danger singals on bees!...
Just wondering how much more gear - and especially its weight - we'll need for a first weekend camping.....?
Any suggestions gratefully received, folks!
Thanks in advance!
Peter and Caroline.
------------- I heard alcohol was good for midge bites - well, any excuse for a drink!
