Hi all.
just joined and new to camping currently have an outwell poles tent but I'm wanting to look at air tents.
I have always heard outwell and vango are the brand's to go to for quality and reliability but have seen so many kampa tents recently and a lot of lean tos on motor homes seem.to be kampa.
My question are kampa as good as the other brands of tent for quality and durability.
cheers everyone.

Iíve had a Kampa Brean Air 5 for several years now and itís been great. Never had an issue and love the vertical door with canopy. Stops rain entering every time you open it.

I bought a Kampa Studland 8 Air polycotton last summer and did not have a chance to weather it before going for first camp.

I was hoping there would be a light shower to weather it before any heavy rain .. that light shower was more like the start of the great flood .. has a very slight damp showing on the zips around the opening windows .. but that was all.

I have a Kampa Hayling Air 4 bought end of season in 2016. Good quality and sturdy introduction to Air beam tents..no problems and had 2 years of camping so far and probably got.at least another 8 years..

I was not at all impressed with the latest offerings from vango and especially outwell, I thought they were boring and over priced. There was nothing about them that I could see justifying the pricetag. However i was very impressed with my friends Kampa Hayling 6 air, i thought it beat the similar outwell hands down.

If I was in the market for another tent, Id be looking at Kampa way before the outwells, and I own an outwell tent!

Just a quick question.
Why do you fancy going to an air tent.

-------------
April Peak District Beech Croft Farm
May Peak District Duke of York
May Holland Delfse Hout
June Cotton Arms Nantwich
july/aug Cornwall Pentewan Sands
And quite a few local weekenders

Mainly looking for an air tent for ease more than anything else.
I have an outwell tennessee which is great with massive poles. But I'm now on my own go on holiday with 2 young daughters.
Guessed air might be easier and less time consuming and give me chance get it up before the girls get to bored lol

Indeed many do think along those lines and works for them, but it isn't necessarily so...Ö...

The only benefit we found was you can erect a large tent on your own.
Time wise we never saw any reduction really.
Started with a hi gear voyager then outwell Vermont xlp.
Moved onto inflatables vango eternity 600,vango eden 600 then the outdoor rev 6xt.
Out of all the tents our favorite was the eternity followed by the Vermont.
If you want to know about kampa quality especially the polycotton one then give mucker a shout on here.
