That's one of the main reasons I bought the Sunncamp Typhoon 1000, doors on front, back and sides, bedrooms that can be zipped all the way out, and where there is no door it's got mesh windows, turns the whole thing into a massive gazebo

Give me a SIG anyday!!  We have had both and after spending 10 minutes erecting the tent and then up to and hour and a half positioning and pegging out footprint groundsheets then hanging up bedrooms etc our new Montana 6 is a breath of fresh air!  erects as one so no putting inner up first - handy if wet - thread the poles lift and peg out guys and away you go bedrooms pre-hung job done, crack open the wine!

Has three doors and countless windows which fully open or have mesh so plenty of ventilation, and best of all    NO BUGS, MOLES, MICE,FROGS Etc

Would recommend to anyone.

After having a sig and none sig clearly a non sig is better for me in many ways.  ok it aslo has its disadvantages. 

After adjusting ways to put up a non sig tent up i virtualy had no problems with insects or the weather.  Last year on Black Rock Sands campsite near Porthmadog it rained like mad and it was like it none stop all the time i was there.  For people who don't know already, the campsite tent area gets like a lake when it rains and there was big massive puddles all around the tent.   The ground was soggy underneath the tent too.  As for in the tent it self was great.   Loads better than a sig. 

Reasons being the only water and dirt in the tent came from me stepping into the tent and obviously the rain getting in when i opened the door.  All i did once inside was shake and wipe the ground sheet no problem.  Also when finally the rain stopped for a tea break I took the ground sheet out to dry before the whistle blew for the rain to start hammering down like never before.

Now you cant do nothing like that with a sig unless you want a swimming pool in the tent and a sig is a pain to clean full stop.  The disadvantages are trying to find the best way to put the tent up so it is not as drafty and insect free.  

Love my SIG.  Hate bugs and our Monty (big one) doesn't get at all stuffy with 3 double doors to open for ventilation.

We have a  montana 6 and it has a sewn in ground sheet. But if you don't put a ground sheet under the sewn in one, then you will probably find that packing away the tent and sewn in ground sheet all together causes the tent to get smelly and milldewy (is that how to spell it?....oh well), because how ever dry the tent is when you pack it away the groundsheet is always damp underneath.

But I love the tent and would recomend sewn in ground sheets. Really cosy, no grassy edges and water running in, no drafts but plenty of ventilation higher up, loads of windows and vents. Once tried you would never go back, it's great. 

Definately go for a tent with a SIG! Got a new one last year, no bugs, no drafts, no damp, nipper can't escape, missus is happy which makes everything just peachy! Come over from the dark side and get yourself a SIG!  'slainte mhath'.
