Thanks are the EHU pitches better than non EHU? As we want to do our first trip without EHU due to the price difference.

ehu piches are the length of two buses and next to non ehu field still plenty of room in non ehu even when it was full. if you walk up the waterfalls hold onto your kids its quite dangerous.

Costs 5 to visit Shell Island - OK for a day, but not if you just want a couple hours on the beach. Instead, turn right on the main road in Llanbedr and drive to Llandanwg, then turn left and drive down to their beach. Free to park, if you park on the lane (or pay and display, still cheaper), loo and cafe off carpark, lots of shells and just as pretty - it's just across the estuary from Shell Island.

i agree with kian their nantcol was the first site i took the OH too for her first ever solo camping and she just fell in love with the place, we went midweek before the main summer hols started and well had the EHU field to ourselves pure bliss even if it did chuck it down for2 of the 3 days we were still in our element plenty to do and the butchers near the pub in the local village proper pucker burgers and sausages
