hi have almost decided to visit crosslaw campsite in the scottish borders next week as we have never been to that coast and fancy somewhere different. Reading reviews it seems more geared to statics tho.
Anyone suggest a nice one they have visited near eyemouth area,? we are in a tent and want ehu. I have a really stressful job atm and really just want to chill in nice surroundings with my partner so pubs etc are not important.

I don't know of any decent sites around Eyemouth, Scoutscroft at Coldingham used to be good but I don't think they accept tents any more.

Have a look at Ord House Country Park at East Ord on the outskirts of Berwick, it is only about 7 miles from Eyemouth and just off the A1.

There aren't any tent sites around Eyemouth.
Ord house is lovely and not too far away - we live 16 miles away and still go there!
Its a lovely area. The beach at Coldingham is great and the New Inn in the village does yummy food.

thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately they are fully booked for next weekend,so we will have to look for somewhere else. Really anywhere on the east coast would suit if anyone can recommend one.

edited to add crosslaw has no vacancies either, looks like we will have a job to get in anywhere, was really looking forward to the break as well.

Try thurston manor slightly further west friends have just returned from it and said it was great.
