We planned a loop touring over Easter in the MH, 5 nights on 5 sites. We are C&CC club members but don't limit ourselves to Club sites.
My frustration is this: C&CC would only allow 2 or even 3 night minimum stays over Easter, which didn't suit us. And some sites have minimum stays even outside Bank Holidays.
My question is this: do CAMC sites have the same rule?
(PS - I'm not opening a debate about whether or not to join either Club or none.)

-------------
2019 - 10 sites, 26 nights.
2018 - 20 sites, 33 nights / 2017 - 10 sites, 22 nights
2016 - 19 sites, 33 nights / 2015 - 15 sites, 27 nights.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Not as far as I am aware. I've often booked for a single night to break a long journey. Some of the more popular sites may have restrictions over bank holidays, though I always try to avoid peak periods.

One night bookings perfectly OK on CMC sites. Only caveat is that if its an affiliated site you will need to check direct with the site.

Many private sites have minimum stay requirements as well. If you stay 1 night you stop someone staying the full holiday period and that can cost a site owner a lot of money in unused pitches.

This is only on busy holiday periods though.

I suppose you could pay for the full period and only stay one night.

No we have never been asked to book for more than 1 night on C&MC including over Easter and Bank Holidays

Hmm. At 25 pn (or so), paying for the 3 nights minimum at Culzean would have made for an expensive stopover! I'll leave that suggestion, as there's usually an independent site within an hour's drive and I've never come up against a "minimum number of nights" rule in an independent.
We got a current CAMC handbook (still in its wrapper) in a charity shop, I'll check whether their spread of CLs and Club sites is any better than C&CC (which we joined originally as we tented).
Thanks for everyone's comments: they've been helpful.
