I have been trying to book for September 2021 since end Feb, thru this website. We plan to tour round from Teesside thru Wales and back. The only site that has replied and taken our booking is Welltrough. There has been no response from 4 sites in Wales to my e mails, which have been entered on the owners site website. Anyone else having problems getting thru?

It seems to happen quite often, I am having the same problem. I can only suggest phoning them instead.

I've emailed a CL via this website a couple of months ago, but never received a reply. Agree with Mrs B, the best way is to ring. It could be that sites are already booked up, no excuse though for not replying.

Just trying now to book Abergele/Rhyl/Prestatyn as part of a tour and finding a big sticking point, sites either want a hefty deposit or payment in full which is not going to happen. One site at Dolgellau has waived deposits for this year, much more sensible.

Plas Onn Isa near Abergele has replied so that's where we are going. Think the owners are out at work each day.

I tried phoning one particular 5 van site on a working farm recently which is listed on here but after 2 phone calls on separate days I still had no reply. The farm doesn't have a website so I used the 'Camp Site Search' facility on here and sent them a message along with a contact number and within 5 minutes I had a phone call from the farm which was quite unexpected really. So the advice is, if the campsite is listed on here and telephone calls and e-mails have failed then it's worth a shot using the facility on here as an alternative when all else fails.

It's worth remembering that while most of the UK has a really good phone signal these days, there are still parts where it is diabolical ! voicemails also can go mysteriously missing - I left someone a someone a message about a meeting first thing on Monday morning and he got it 10 mins before I was due to arrive!
Hence tango55's suggestion is a good one -also worth considering a text to see if that works, trying WhatsApp ( a lot of my more rural clients use that) or facebook messenger if they've got a FB page.
