I know this isnít CCC any more, Iím just after a little help.

Is the walk into Corfe village on a proper laid path or is it compacted and muddy? I have a mobility scooter and want to make sure the path is suitable.

Thanks in advance.

Nora

That's a pity as I didn't know that it wasn't a C&CC site anymore. We have always wanted to go to this club site as I believe it was the only one in Dorset but over the past couple of years I've tried to book three times with failure as it's always been fully booked.

Thanks, Webmaster.
Good clear website - more info than CCC usually has. And you can sign up for newsletters, I don't think that was available as an option before.
Just gave me a jolt, to see ficklejade's recent post here - hard to believe we won't see her posting any more.

I've had a look at their website but unfortunately they haven't stated any tarriff charges which really is the first thing that customers need to know prior to booking.

Totally agree. Puts me off when sites don't publish their tariffs.

So I did a dummy booking, which is the only way to find out what the cost would be (which you shouldn't have to). I just picked a week in March, from the 17th. The cost for a caravan and 2 adults is £239.85 for 7 nights. Works out at £34.26 per night, which to me, in March, is well over what I'm prepared to pay. They do offer a discount of 20% for over 60s, which then works out at £200.49, which is cheaper, but not far short of £30 per night, which is still more than I'm prepared to pay. No idea what the tariff is for July/August, didn't bother after finding out the cost in March, which is nowhere near Easter or any BHs. I won't bother going there t those prices. I'm sure I can find CLs or CSs in the area for less than that.

We normally stay at South Lychett Manor which is about 11 miles away from Corfe Castle. A very nice site, but you have to book ahead for a fully serviced pitch.

There are plenty of CLs/CSs in the area which will be £20 or less, some with facilities
