Recently went a day backpacking .
Started at Abergele Pensarn beach and walked along pebble and sandy beaches ,but mostly on part of Wales coastal path ,past Kimmel bay towards Rhyl
Which is starting to Regenerate Crossed Dragon bridge designed from a Yacht .
Eventually got to Prestatyn came off coastal path at the Nova Centre .
Covered 13 miles with lovely sea views all the way in my hike and into town centre .
Found shopping centre and high street very interesting .
Headed out of town to campsite and pitch tent for the night .

It was a lovely hot Sunny October day over twenty degrees blue sky . After Abergele
The walk started from Pensarn railway station and onto the seafront had a look around cafes and amusement arcade , which looked like time gone by and spotted a large pink crab made out of seashells ,the beach was not very Inviting large stones and pebbles and shelved away down to the Sea .
So headed East along the Coastal path .
Which is also the NCR 5 a shared cycle path ,but not many cyclist about .
Around the Kimmel bay I Spotted a large Black swarm ,I thought we're flies. .
well I was attacked and badly stung on arms and mostly in my head by Swarm of Wasps Ouch Aaaaaaarrrgghh I was in a lot of pain and could feel my head swelling very quickly and the pain was terrible so to get away from the Peskie Varmits jogged away from them ,and used my sting spray Asap .
Carried on in pain as I was near Rhyl I called into a chemist and got some sting cream and Anti-histamene tablets which all helped .
Then back into the Seafront to the Coastal path All the time I was thinking of this bad experience Luckily I did not get any secondary effects .And was able to carry on my walk

Thanks
I won't forget Pentre Halkyn the day on My cycle tour,
I got thoroughly soaked to the skin .
The only time it rained, torrential downpour
During the hottest and driest weather this year.

After finishing the hike/walk in Prestatyn .
Decided to stop for a evening meal at a cafe .
As I did not fancy cooking .
As I Headed Back to campsite it was dusk and just going dark .
I was glad I had already pitched my tent ,and all my camp comforts set up .
Settled in for a lovely relaxing night at a very good campsite called Nant Mill .
I was the only tent pitched .
As the campsite was officially closed .
Apart from been target practice for a swarm of peskie Wasps It was a memorable day .
