Hi, wanted to let you know about the Homark Halogen /Ceramic hotplate. I had been looking for a halogen hotplate for a while, but only seemed to be able to find induction plates. I then found the Homark Halogen. It can be bought definitely from Argos and costs approximately £54 and less if you have an argos money of voucher.
Anyway, it is flat and halogen. It also has a variable wattage setting, going from 200 to 2000.
I use it on the boat and for stowage it sits neatly under our gas stove. Porridge is now so fast in the morning.
I did find the Ferrari G3 on amazon and it cost less than the homark - about £30, but had less wattage.
If anybody have any questions about this let me know.
