A couple of times recently I have been unable to open UKCS website, and get an error message telling me that it has been re-directed too many times and to clear cookies. I went into settings and cleared the only 2 cookies showing on the site and it then opened.
I have never had this before in the years I have been using UKCS, is it a common problem?

I mostly use an old iPad for on here, that was given to me, as it is not compatible with iOS 10, which of course prevents it from loading many of the latest app's.
Not a problem really but uks, does often come to a standstill, a quick visit to settings, and clear safari, gets it going again.

I guess as websites get more advanced, along with app's, older devices don't have the computing power to keep up.

Built in obsolescence, that the makers of tech rely on to keep the money coming in.

I had it happen once recently. It's probably just a "glitch" with the site. Sometimes these things just happen, and we never know the reason. Usually I just leave them for a while and when I come back all is fine.

Growing older is compulsory, growing up is optional.

It pays to clear your browser history now and then and start again with new cookies. I also do a regular disc clean-up and defrag. If you think about all the different websites you may visit that put cookies on your computer it doesn't take long for there to be thousands of them. I am guessing that sooner or later there won't be room for any more.

If you do clear all your browser history make sure you can remember any passwords for websites because it may delete those too unless you untick the 'passwords and other sign-in data' box.

I also manually delete all the temp files in Windows.

Old people used to be a lot older than me...now most of them are younger than me!
