has anyone bought the windbreak or either of the lanterns? are they worth the money or more than worth it?

Cheers

I can say the picnic blankets are good large size and come with the aluminium base, the ruck sack is pretty good with quite a lot of useful pockets too but was about 2 cheaper last year.

We have the LED lanterns (2 pack 6.99) and they are great. Let out a lot of light and the batteries (AAA) last for ages. Think I will be investing in another set.

The floor mats are great too - we use them in the extension and are warm and comfy underfoot. Also double up as mats for the grass when the kids want to sit down etc.

I bought the 8.99 lantern 4 years ago, still going strong with the original batteries.

i'm tempted by the clogs as i'm in need of a new pair of shower shoes, but i've always used flip flops in the past as they seem to involve very little faffing about when removing them mid-shower so i can wash between my toes...

hmmm...decisions decisions...

got some stuff couple of weeks back, from Aldi, hook up lead, cute lamps led, with dimmer!(fetched two more today)only 2:99 each.dont have kitchen stand yet, wasn`t going to bother yet but......
I am really trying to only buy essentials,
I have got a stand for washing up,holds bowl etc.I brought it years ago for the awning, never really found it that useful,so I am really trying to avoid getting bogged down with excess stuff for the tent, but a kitchen/cooker,!!is that a need or a want ?

Floor mats are great, we bought some 3 years ago and will get some more this year - make the tent really cosy and are easy to clean. Sad to see they don't have the fridges this year, we got one 3 yr ago and its top notch. Keep a look out to see if they do them again as they are a really good buy.

Thank you sweeneysteve, for the link.

Oh dear that's me broke.    I like the idea of the solar charger - but if any has one and found that they are no good, please say.  The cloggs of Pip and me,   A couple of teh dynamo torches for the kids, and possible the floor mats.

Hate to say this folks, but this will only be the start of the stuff that they will have in to tempt you.
