What did we Think?

Constellation double

This sleeping bag is quite large when packed away and maybe too large for those with a small car, however if you have space we would definitely recommend this sleeping bag and found it very comfy and warm.

It is a large double with full zips down each side ensuring it is easy to get in and out of. The Constellation is thick, yet not too thick so you melt when asleep and I had one of the best nights sleep using this sleeping bag, this was whilst being used in conjunction with the Outwell Cimelia Double mattress.

Outwell Cimelia Double

The mattress is quite large when packed away, but it is certainly worth it. It is a good sized double and perfect for the two of us on a recent camping trip.

We simply opened up the valves, laid the mattress on the floor and sealed them when we went to bed. Coupled with the Constellation Double sleeping bag we had one of the best nights sleep ever had in a tent.

Outwell Memory Pillow

This Outwell memory pillow is rather small, but perfect for your camping kit and much smaller than taking a standard pillow with you. We have used this a few times and is definitely a permanent feature in my camping kit box. The pillow comes with its own carry bag and comfy and pleasing to use.

We started camping when most people are abandoning tents and looking for alternatives. Our equipment has served us well but during our last holiday this summer Jenny was starting to question how comfortable our sleeping arrangements were. I decided to get a double constellation sleeping bag and a dreamboat Sim. I think I am safe to say that Jenny's enthusiasm for camping has been reignited after our recent holiday in Mid Wales and it is partly because of the extremely comfortable sleeping arrangements. I have resisted the temptation to get a camp bed for a number of reasons and feel that is not necessary. Hopefully we will be camping comfortably foir many years to come.
